About
I am a twenty-something who loves to practice yoga, hike, cook vegan meals, and enjoy life with my family. I have held a frequent shopper card at my local health food store since I was 12, when I first became a vegetarian. After I swore off meat, my aunt gave me several books on vegetarian nutrition, which sparked my love for whole nourishing foods and healthy living. I am married to a chef who has taught me how to properly use a knife, while I have shown him that kale is much more than a garnish. We have been blessed with a beautiful little boy, who has been an ovo-lacto vegetarian since conception.
I am a certified yoga teacher. I began practicing Ashtanga yoga in college and currently practice a more variable vinyasa style. I have also been inspired by Anusara workshops. I love being outdoors and enjoy hiking and running when the New England weather agrees with me.
I believe the first step to peace, is making peace with oneself. I by no means have a “perfect” diet and do not hold myself to a strict work-out regimen. I love chocolate and wine, and am perfectly happy to give up a grueling hour on the elliptical for a leisurely walk in the woods with my favorite guys.

*Please note: I have no formal training in nutrition or health (yet).

Hi
You have a really beautiful blog. I admire the fact that you teach yoga. That must be so nice. Happy new year.
Hello!
What a lovely blog you have! Just discovered it. I’m curious to hear about your yoga teacher training. I’m also in my 20′s, married, and expecting our first baby girl in June. I’ve practiced yoga for a few years now, including through the pregnancy so far…baby seems to love yoga!
I would really love to teach, and have started researching different training programs, styles, etc.
Take care,
Chelsea
